Bipolar Aging and Imaging Study

We were interested in finding out how the structure and function of the brain changes with age among individuals with bipolar disorder compared to those changes seen in people without bipolar disorder. Our study investigated how brain characteristics related to performance on cognitive tests and real-world functioning.We also learned about how each person’s genetic information may relate to the way that his or her brain responds during thinking.
